NCUT has attached great importance to international academic exchanges, and has thus  established intercollegiate relations of cooperation with over 20 colleges and universities in   more than 10 countries, such as Japan, the United States, and others. NCUT is one of the higher  education institutions in China, which was approved to admit international students to learn   Chinese, thus, since 1982,NCUT has admitted over 250 international students, and in the   meanwhile, has sent more than 56 people to other countries to give lectures, or study or take part in short-term training programs. NCUT is also active in organizing international   conferences, symposiums and workshops. A significant amount of administrators at both the university and college levels have been trained abroad.
